Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita met with his Jamaican counterpart Kamina Johnson Smith on Wednesday in Rabat where the two sides vowed to promote bilateral cooperation, Trend reports citing Xinhua.
The two ministers signed an agreement which will serve as a road map for bilateral cooperation over 2020-2022.
Jamaica is determined to strengthen and deepen its cooperation with Morocco, mainly through the road map for cooperation covering the period of 2020-2022, the Jamaican foreign minister said in a press briefing after the talks.
Jamaica is grateful for the technical assistance provided by Morocco over the past three years, particularly in agriculture, she added.
The Moroccan minister said both countries want to give concrete substance to their relations through projects in the sectors of training, tourism, sustainable development, agriculture and renewable energy.
