One lieutenant and one specialized sergeant were killed by terrorists in a clash in Tunceli province late Saturday, TRT reported.
A written statement by Tunceli Governor's office said terrorists opened fire on Turkish troops who were patrolling in rural area of Geyiksuyu in Tunceli province.
One lieutenant and one specialized sergeant were killed in the skirmish.
Operations are underway in the region to catch the fleeing terrorists.
