6th Istanbul Administrative Court decided to suspend the construction of a shopping mall on Istanbul's Taksim Square.
A decision, adopted by a majority, prohibits any construction in the Gezi Park, Zaman reported.
As previously reported, Istanbul Governor Hüseyin Avni Mutlu said that 12 injured, 63 people were detained during the riots on Taksim Square in Istanbul due to the demolition of the Gezi park. Police used tear gas and water cannon to disperse demonstrators.
