Some 49 hospitals have been allocated in 43 provinces of Turkey in the case of detection of people sick with the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV), Anadolu agency reported on Oct.27.
First death case from MERS-CoV was registered in Turkey on Oct.24.
The virus was detected in a Turkish citizen who returned from Saudi Arabia.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has urged all citizens who contacted with the patient, to visit a doctor.
MERS-CoV was first detected in Saudi Arabia in September 2012.
Experts claim that dromedary camels in Saudi Arabia may be the source of the virus. The cases of infection with MERS-CoV have already been registered in France, Germany, Jordan UK and the United States.
Moreover, 45 special hospitals were allocated in 36 provinces of Turkey in case of detection of people sick with Ebola.
The number of those admitted to hospitals in Turkey with suspicion of Ebola has reached six people. Five of them are the hajj pilgrims, and one is a Turkish student studying in Somalia.
