Turkish foreign ministry receives parcel containing suspicious powder

The Ministry of Foreign Afairs of Turkey has received a suspicious package containing yellow powder, the Turkish Milliyet newspaper said Oct.30.
The staff of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of Turkey (AFAD) arrived at the scene after the incident, according to the newspaper.
It should be recalled that Turkish authorities said that the consulates of Canada, Belgium and Germany in Istanbul were evacuated after receiving a package with yellow powder Oct.24.
The conducted tests revealed the powder to be non-toxic. No further details on the reason why the package was sent to the consulates were available.
