Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct.15
By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:

Russia is Turkey's partner, but Moscow should respect this partnership, Turkey's Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said in an interview with TGRT TV channel Oct.15.

The facts of violation of Turkey's airspace by the planes of Russian air forces showed that Moscow didn't value this partnership, according to the prime minister.

Davutoglu said Turkey is confident that such incidents will not repeat again as the Russian side previously promised.

Earlier, Turkey's Foreign Ministry said that the planes of Russian air forces, involved in the military operation in Syria, violated Turkey's airspace on Oct. 3.

The aircraft of Turkish air forces carried out warning sorties following the violation of the country's airspace. After this, Russian planes left the Turkish airspace.

Following the incident, Russian ambassador to Turkey was summoned to the country's Foreign Ministry to clarify the situation.
