Istanbul police detained a number of major entrepreneurs, who are suspected of conducting fictitious exports, the Turkish newspaper Milliyet reported March 29.
The police held operations at 20 points in the city. Reportedly, there are also female entrepreneurs among the detainees.
The names of those detained haven't been disclosed.
Similar operations are expected to be held in other major cities of Turkey.
