Turkey has a great experience in shipbuilding and port operation, Ahmet Arslan, Turkish minister of transport, shipping and communications, said in an exclusive interview with Trend November 29.
“Turkey will be glad to share its experience with Azerbaijan,” he said.
Arslan added that Baku and Ankara are actively cooperating in navigation and other fields.
"Turkey is actively cooperating with Azerbaijan to develop infrastructure in Caspian Sea ports, and shipbuilding companies,” the minister said.
“Turkish companies are involved in construction work in the ports of the Caspian Sea, and Turkey will continue to cooperate with Azerbaijan in this sphere," he said.
Arslan said that Turkey and Azerbaijan are working to develop cooperation of using Turkish ports on the Black Sea, including the port of Samsun for the Black Sea countries to have an access to other seas.
