Turkey’s Armed Forces at 4 kilometers from Syria’s Afrin center

Turkey’s Armed Forces and the Free Syrian Army are at four kilometers from Syria’s Afrin district center, the Turkish media reported March 9.
Reportedly, during the Operation Olive Branch, 730 square kilometers of the territory were cleared of terrorists.
Presently, the Turkish Armed Forces and the Free Syrian Army are preparing to attack Mabatly settlement.
During the operation, 157 settlements were liberated from terrorists.
On Jan. 20, the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Free Syrian Army, launched the Operation Olive Branch in Afrin, Syria.
F-16 fighters of the Turkish Air Force are involved in the operation, inflicting strikes on the positions of PYD/YPG on the Syrian-Turkish border.
