In April 2019, the trade turnover between Turkey and Azerbaijan amounted to $167.5 million, having decreased by $4.6 million compared to April 2018, Trend reports referring to Turkey's Trade Ministry.
In this period, Turkey’s exports to Azerbaijan amounted to $118.4 million, while imports from Azerbaijan equaled to $49.1 million.
The ministry noted that the trade between Turkey and Azerbaijan in January-April 2019 increased by $2.5 million compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to $595.6 million.
In January-April 2019, Turkey’s exports to Azerbaijan amounted to $441 million, while imports from Azerbaijan equaled to $154.6 million.
The foreign trade turnover of Turkey in April 2019 amounted to $33.377 billion.
During this period, Turkish exports increased by 5.38 percent compared to April 2018 and amounted to $15.273 billion.
In April 2019, imports from Turkey decreased by 14.62 percent compared to April 2018 and amounted to $18.104 billion.
