The export of the Turkish defense industry products increased by 37.7 percent and reached $1.855 billion from January to September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018, the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly told Trend.
The export of the Turkish defense industry products increased by 1.2 percent and reached $164.236 million in September 2019, compared to September 2018.
"The export of Turkish defense industry products to the US increased by 17.08 percent and reached $508.391 million from January to September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018," the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly said.
The export of the Turkish defense industry products to Azerbaijan decreased by 28.63 percent ($20.7 million), to China - by 90.50 percent ($798,000), to Uzbekistan - increased by more than five times ($8.1 million), to Tajikistan - more than 6.5 times ($103,000) during the reporting period.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover increased by 0.11 percent and reached $32.181 billion in September 2019 compared to September 2018.
From January to September 2019, Turkey’s total trade turnover reached $286.419 billion.
