Turkish-Kazakh business forum will be held in Turkey’s Ankara city on November 10, Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on Nov. 6.
The issues of strengthening trade relations between the two countries will be discussed at the forum.
Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay and Kazakh Prime Minister Askar Mamin will attend the forum.
"Presently, the preparations to organize the forum are underway," the ministry said.
The export of goods from Turkey to Kazakhstan increased by 10.5 percent from January through September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018 and reached $591.2 million.
In first nine months of 2019, the export of goods from Turkey’s Istanbul and Ankara cities to Kazakhstan amounted to $428.7 million.
The export of goods from Istanbul to Kazakhstan increased by 6.85 percent from January through September 2019 compared to the same period of 2018 and reached $368.6 million, while the export of goods from Ankara to Kazakhstan increased by 57.21 percent and reached over $60 million from January.
in September 2019, the export of goods from Istanbul and Ankara to Kazakhstan amounted to $60.4 million.
The export of goods from Ankara to Kazakhstan amounted to $10.4 million in September 2019 which is 2.3 times more compared to September 2018.
The export of goods from Istanbul to Kazakhstan increased by 31.6 percent in September 2019 compared to September 2018 and reached over $50 million, the ministry said.
