In October of this year, Turkey’s trade with Iraq grew by $359.4 million compared with October last year, exceeding $1.2 billion, Turkey's Ministry of Customs and Trade told Trend.
In October of 2019, Turkey`s export to Iraq amounted to $873.7 million, while import from Iraq - $406.6 million, the ministry said.
From January through October, 2019, Turkey`s trade with Iraq grew by $987.3 million compared with the same period of 2018, amounting to $9 billion.
In the same period, Turkey`s export to Iraq amounted to $7.1 billion, and import from Iraq - $1.4 billion, the ministry said.
Meanwhile, the external trade of Turkey in October 2019, amounted to $34.5 billion.
For this period, Turkey's export dropped by 1.53 percent compared with October 2018, and reached $18.1 billion.
