In January 2020, the number of Turkish citizens visiting Uzbekistan through ISKUR for the purpose of employment dropped by 44.4 percent compared to the same period in 2019, Turkish Employment Agency (ISKUR) told Trend.
In this period, 10 Turkish citizens visited Uzbekistan through ISKUR.
In January 2020, 1,783 Turkish citizens went abroad via ISKUR, which is 10.4 percent more compared to the same period of 2019.
In the reporting period, 87,383 citizens were provided with jobs through ISKUR in Turkey, which is 4.8 percent more compared to the same period in 2019.
Of those employed, 36.4 percent were women and 63.4 percent were men.
Some 99.6 percent of the total number of those provided with jobs in January 2020 accounted for the private sector.
In January 2020, the number of unemployed in Turkey reached over 4 million people, of which 50.4 percent were women and 49.6 percent were men.
