Turkey's export of electrical goods to Iran for 1H2021 grows

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 17

The value of export of electrical goods from Turkey to Iran had risen in the first six months of 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.

According to the ministry, this indicator surpassed $63.5 million, up by 51.8 percent on annual basis.

In June this year, Turkey exported electrical goods worth over $13.3 million to Iran, which is 21.2 percent less than in the same month of last year.

Turkey’s total export value of electrical goods increased by 46.3 percent to $6.88 billion in the first half of 2021 compared to the same period of 2020.

The country’s total exports of the mentioned goods in June 2021 made up $1.3 billion, which is 45.1 percent more compared to June 2020.

Over the past 12 months (from June 2020 through June 2021), Turkish exports of electrical goods totaled over $13.2 billion.
