Turkish ports have handled 2,151 trucks in the first seven months of 2021, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend on Aug.18.
According to the ministry, in the reporting period, the ships delivered 813 trucks to Turkish ports.
"From January to July, 1,338 trucks were sent from the ports of Turkey," the ministry said.
In general, the ports have handled over 1.18 million vehicles during the reporting period.
Ro-Ro ships delivered 472,022 vehicles to the ports during the reporting period. Meanwhile, 716,691 vehicles were sent from the ports of Turkey by Ro-Ro ships
Turkish ports handled 145,316 vehicles in total in July of this year. In this month, Ro-Ro ships delivered 58,106 vehicles to the ports, and 87,210 cars were sent from them, added the ministry.
