Steel exports from Turkey to Austria increased by 81.3 percent ($30.9 million) from January through August 2021, compared to the same period last year, Trend reports via Turkish Ministry of Trade.
In August, steel exports from Turkey to Austria doubled compared to the same month in 2020 - to $6.6 million.
Turkey in total increased steel exports by 68.7 percent compared to the same period last year - to $13.2 billion.
In August, Turkey exported $2.2 billion worth of steel, which is 1.6 times more than in the same month of 2020.
Over the last 12 months (August 2020 through August 2021), Turkish steel exports amounted to $17.9 billion.
