The total value of the export of leather goods from Turkey to Kazakhstan in September 2021 surged, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
According to the ministry, this figure reached $6.9 million, up by 3.2 times on annual basis.
In the first nine months of this year, Turkey exported leather goods worth $32.2 million to Kazakhstan, which is increase of 1.2 times compared to the same period of 2020.
Meanwhile, the total value of Turkish-made leather goods export abroad was 28.3 percent more than in 9M2020 - up to $1.26 billion.
In the 9th month of 2021, Turkey totally exported leather goods worth $172 million, which is 32 percent more compared to the same month of 2020.
Over the last 12 months (from September 2020 through September 2021), Turkish exports of the mentioned goods equaled $1.6 billion.
