Azerbaijan’s Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FIMSA) has registered a prospectus of short-term notes worth 50 million manats of the Central Bank (CBA), FIMSA said March 1.

Some 500,000 notes at a par value of 100 manats each and the maturity period of 28 days will be issued.

A short-term note is a tool of monetary policy to regulate money supply in circulation. Only banks can obtain notes.
