A tender on purchase of agriculture technique under the grant approved by the Japanese government for Azerbaijan will be announced in Japan. Aydin Azizov, the head of leasing service of the Azerbaijani Agriculture Ministry, told Trend the tender will be announced on 10 July 2005.
According to Azizova, officials of the Agriculture Ministry will pay a visit to Japan to participate in the tender procedures.
He also noted that delivery of technique to Azerbaijan under tender was expected in the fourth quarter of 2005.
The issues concerning the tender on purchase of technique was discussed during the visit of the representatives of the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation in May 2005 and a protocol on implementation of working procedures was signed.
