The delegation of the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) led by Radjendra Paronda, the coordinator for Central Asia and Southern Caucasus, is in the regions of Azerbaijan.
“The delegation will visit Gobustan, where Experimental station on research of legumes is located,” the Scientific-Agrarian Center of the Agriculture Ministry told Trend.
The specialists will also visit experimental station of the Melioration Institute and get familiar with the implementation of the project on the application of the effective irrigative methods, carried out under financial support of the organization. The delegation will have meetings with Ismat Abbassov, the Agriculture Minister, and academician Jalal Aliyev.
