The volume of the rendered information and communication services is projected at 1.592 billion AZN in Azerbaijan in 2014 or by 3.3 percent more than in the same period of 2013, a government source told Trend Oct. 27.
The amount of income in the ICT sector will increase by 33.5 percent and exceed 2.12 billion AZN by 2019, according to the government forecasts.
The market dynamics growth for the next four years will be as follows: the growth is projected at 9.8 percent in 2015, 19.8 percent in 2016, 26.4 percent in 2017.
The share of income in this sector in the country's GDP in 2014 is projected at 1.8 percent (1.042 billion AZN). This figure is expected to reach 1.9 percent (1.144 billion AZN) in 2015, two percent (1.248 billion AZN) in 2016, two percent (1.317 billion AZN) in 2017 and 1.9 percent (1.391 billion AZN) in 2018.
The real annual growth rate for the next four years is projected at 2-2.3 percent.
