Kazakhstan's national carrier Air Astana increases frequency of flights on the route Almaty-Tbilisi-Almaty, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported referring to the company.
The extra flight will be made on Tuesdays by Embraer 190 aircraft which has 97 seats.
Air Astana launched air communication between Almaty and Tbilisi on June 2, 2011. Flights have been made on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Almaty -Tbilisi- Almaty return tickets price starts from 49,911 tenge (148.92 tenge = $1) in economy class, including airport taxes and other taxes, and from 118,615 tenge in business class. The duration of the flight from Tbilisi to Almaty is 3 hours 35 minutes and from Almaty to Tbilisi is 4 hours 10 minutes.
Air Astana is Kazakhstan's largest airline, which is the national carrier of the country. Air Astana is a joint venture of Kazakhstan's Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna (51 percent) and Britain's BAE Systems company (49 percent).
