The construction of the first "green" office complex "Talan Towers" will be launched in Kazakhstan, the group of companies "Verny Capital" said on Tuesday.
The complex will be built in accordance with the environmental protection principles by using the energy-efficient technologies that meet the LEED requirements.
The cost of the project is $ 300 million. The investor of the project is "Verny Capital."
"Talan Towers" complex consists of two towers of different heights. There will be a hotel of the world-famous network The Ritz-Carlton and residential apartments in a 26-storey tower. A + class business center with the offices of the largest local and foreign companies will be in the second 30-story tower. The two towers will be connected by a three-story podium.
The building project was designed by architects of SOM (Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP) - one of the world's leading companies in the fields of architecture, urban planning, engineering and interior design.
According to the architects, "Talan Towers" is compositionally related to the symbol of Astana - "Baiterek" monument and is intended to be a new architectural landmark of the capital of Kazakhstan.
The complex is planned to be constructed in 2016.
