Baku will host the 23rd annual Crans Montana Forum from June 28 to July 1.

The forum will take place at the invitation of the Government of Azerbaijan. It will be devoted to the public and private governance as far as energy policy is concerned.

Among the leaders invited are Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, executive chairman and founder of the forum, Ambassador Jean-Paul Karteron, President of the Republic of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov, President of the Republic of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic, the Crown Prince of the Emirate of Fujairah (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Prince Jean of Luxembourg and other dignitaries.

The forum's main discussion will be devoted to Azerbaijan's role in providing electricity to Eastern Europe, the Middle East situation and the monitoring of ethical practices in international corporate policy.

Crans Montana Forum is a Swiss international organisation established in Crans-Montana (Switzerland) in 1986. It is officially recognised by all major international organisations and works closely with them. Crans Montana Forum is working closely with partner agencies such as UN, UNESCO, UNIDO, ISESCO, the European Union, Council of Europe, OFID, as well as with major international groups.
