The flow of Azerbaijani students to Ukraine has increased by more than three times, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alexander Mishchenko said during a presentation on 'Quality education abroad accessible to everyone'.
"In general, the number of students from Azerbaijan to Ukraine is increasing. Today 4036 Azerbaijani students are quite successfully studying in Ukraine," he said.
The Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan made a presentation on Ukrainian education system in Baku.
According to Mishchenko, the event was attended by representatives of four Ukrainian higher educational institutions.
According to him, all legal conditions were created in Azerbaijan for Azerbaijani youth to successfully receive education in Ukraine.
"High quality of education in Ukraine, good atmosphere, friendly attitude of Ukrainians to Azerbaijanis are the main factors for active development of educational programs with Azerbaijan,"he said.
According to him, the parties are making every effort to attract Ukrainian students in Azerbaijan.
"For instance, in my opinion, it is very important for those who want to become specialists in the energy field to receive education here. Azerbaijan is a polygon in the energy sector for Ukraine. I can see all innovations here," Mishchenko said.
