Baku, Azerbaijan, June 15
The second day of artistic gymnastics competitions goes on as part of Baku's first European Games.
Oleg Stepko, Eldar Safarov and Peter Pahnyuk are representing Azerbaijan in the qualifying round of the artistic gymnastics among men.
Marina Nekrasova, Julia Inshina and Kristina Pravdina are representing Azerbaijan in the qualifying round of the artistic gymnastics among women.
The Azerbaijani athletes are representing the country in the team artistic gymnastics competitions among men and women.
In total, some 80 gymnasts are involved in the individual competitions among women, some 73 gymnasts among men. Some 25 teams among women and 26 among men are involved in the team competitions.
The European Games that kicked off in Baku June 12, will last till June 28.
There is a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.
Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
