Caspian Pipeline Consortium increases CPC Blend oil export by 6%

In January-November 2015, the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) shipped from the Russian Southern Ozereyevka-2 terminal 38.7 million tons of CPC Blend oil against 36.42 million tons of oil in the same period last year, according to the CTC report posted on the website of the consortium.

In November, oil shipment from the terminal located near the port of Novorossiysk was 3.99 million tons of oil against 3.77 million tons of oil in November 2014.

In 2014, CPC shareholders shipped from the terminal nearly 40 million tons of oil produced at the Tengiz and Karachaganak fields in Kazakhstan against 32.7 million tons of oil in 2013.

The shareholders of the CPC pipeline with a length of 1,510 kilometers are: Transneft - 24 percent, KazMunaiGas - 19 percent, Chevron - 15 percent, LUKARCO - 12.5 percent, Mobil Caspian Pipeline Company - 7.5 percent, Rosneft-Shell Caspian - 7.5 percent, CPC Company - 7 percent, BG - 2 percent, Eni - 2 percent, Kazakhstan Pipeline Ventures - 1.75 percent and Oryx Caspian Pipeline - 1.75 percent.
