The revenues received in January-June 2019 from mobile communication services in Azerbaijan amounted to 421.5 million manats, Trend reports referring to Azerbaijani State Statistical Committee.
The revenues of the mobile communications sector increased by 0.43 percent and reached 42.2 percent of total revenues of the telecommunications market in January-June 2019 compared to January-June 2018, according to the Committee.
In January-June 2019, population and organizations in Azerbaijan were provided with information and communication services worth 999.8 million manats, which is 15.8 percent more compared to the same period of 2018.
Meanwhile, 72.1 percent out of the total information and communication services accounted for services rendered to the population. Furthermore, 82.5 percent of the revenues received via the sector accounted for non-state enterprises.
