Azerbaijan unveils trade surplus for 10M2021

The legal entities and individuals in Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with partners from 185 countries from January through October 2021, Trend reports citing a report from the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan exported its products to 115 countries while imported goods from 173 countries from January through October 2021.

Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover reached $26.6 billion (taking into account the statistics cost of crude oil and natural gas, customs clearance of which has not been fully completed), including export - $17.3 billion, import - $9.3 billion from January through October 2021.

As a result, the trade surplus exceeded $7.9 billion.

Foreign trade turnover in real prices increased by 34.4 percent, in real terms - by 1.8 percent, including import - by 12.3 percent, export - by 6.6 percent compared to the period from January through October 2020.

According to the State Statistics Committee, 88 percent of foreign trade turnover during the reporting period accounted for Italy, Turkey, Russia, China, Germany, Ukraine, Croatia, Israel, Spain, Georgia, India, UK, Portugal, Tunisia, US, Iran, Belarus, Switzerland, Canada, Greece and Japan.
