BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 13. Construction of a transport and logistics center is planned on the territory of the Alat Free Economic Zone (AFEZ) in October 2022, the Board Chairman of AFEZ Authority Valeh Alasgarov told reporters, Trend reports.
According to Alasgarov, railway infrastructure will be created on an area of 160,000 square meters and a highway will be built.
"Private investments will be attracted to implement this initiative, and it is planned to complete the project in the next two years," he added.
