BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. The Azerbaijan Rapid Technical Assistance Facility (AZTAF) program paves way for Azerbaijan's sustainable development, Country Manager of the World Bank (WB) Office in Azerbaijan, Stefanie Stallmeister, said during today's second annual reporting meeting of AZTAF, funded by the European Union (EU) and managed by the WB, in Baku, Trend reports.
“Azerbaijan is actively committed to the energy transition, increasing women’s participation in the labor market, and adapting to climate change. All these aspects play a key role in achieving national goals. Their successful implementation will be the foundation for the country’s future.
In this context, the AZTAF project takes on special significance as an important step towards the sustainable development of Azerbaijan,” she emphasized.
To note, AZTAF was launched to support the Azerbaijani government in achieving the goals outlined in the Azerbaijan Socio-Economic Development Strategy for 2022–2026.
