Absence of some foreign observers at Azerbaijani election – obvious example of double standards (VIDEO)
Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov. 1
Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev highly appreciated the participation of voters in the Nov. 1 parliamentary election in the country.
Speaking to the Azerbaijani ATV channel, Mehdiyev said that no incidents were recorded during the parliamentary election in the country.
"People voted for candidates at their own will," he added.
Touching upon the nonparticipation of some international organizations in the election observation process, Mehdiyev said that those organizations were invited to take part in the observation.
"They themselves decided not to take part," he said. "This is the most obvious example of double standards."
