( Reuters ) - An man opened fire from his balcony just outside Rome on Saturday evening, wounding five people including a doctor who was seriously injured while trying to tend to the others, according to Italy's ANSA news agency.
Four of the wounded were branded "code green" by hospital authorities, meaning they were not seriously hurt, it said.
Details remained unclear, but ANSA reported the man had set fire to gasoline on his balcony then opened fire intermittently, hitting passers-by in the area of Settecamini below.
