Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 March / Trend corr. K.Zarbaliyeva / A man was killed as a result of a shooting in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Agshin Ziyadov, Prosecutor of Nasimi District of Baku stated to Trend that Eldaniz Gurbanov, 36, from the region of Lankaran, was shot by an unknown assailant at 16, Hesein Aliyev Ave, on 1 March.
Gurbanov was taken to hospital. In spite of the efforts of the doctors, Gurbanov died.
No suspected has been detained yet.
An investigation has been launched into the case. A criminal case has been filed in accordance with Article 120.1 (willful homicide) and 228.1 (illegal acquisition and possession of a firearm) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
