Azerbaijani Family Stabbed in Russian Federation's Khakassiya Republic
An Azerbaijani family was stabbed in the Khakassiya Republic of the Russian Federation, Sibirskoe Agentstvo Novostey said.
A 22-year-old slaughter-house worker in the Shirin Region of Khakassiya killed 5 people, including two children, 10 and 12-years old, in the early morning of 12 October. The man set on fire a house with two small children inside (one was under a year old and the other 4 years old) so as to hide the traces of the crime. The children were hospitalized.
The victims turned out to be an Azerbaijani family. The causes of the crime are unknown.
The suspect was detained on the day of murder. On the same day the Russian Federation Prosecutorїs Office Investigation Committee on Khakassiya Republic filed a criminal case. An investigation is underway.
