Azerbaijan, Baku, 20 October / Trend corr. S.Kazimli / A 17-year old boy run in with his car a major of the military unit N of the Defense Ministry in Khatai District of Baku. The major died as a result.
On 19 October at 02.00AM 17-year old Kanan Aliyev run in 32-year old Sergey Pugachev, the major of the military unit N of the Defense Ministry, and 33-year old Nikolay Yermakov, a resident of Baku and the second mechanical engineer of the SOCAR oil and gas fleet, with his Mercedes car in Ganja avenue of Khatai District, the Khatai District Police Department told Trend . As a result of this traffic accident, Pugachev died at the scene of incident. Yermakov was discharged after he was rendered medical aid at a hospital. The police arrested Aliyev, a responsible person for this incident.
A lawsuit was filed on this case in accordance with Article 263.2 (violation of traffic rules and exploitation of transport means, entailing human death because of carelessness) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code at the Khatai District Police Department and investigation has been launched into the case.
