A blast occurred in an apartment building in the Azerbaijani southern region of Lankaran (270 km of Baku) has left injured.
Today at around 09:00, a blast occurred in an apartment building in Lankaran, the regional prosecutor's office told Trend on Nov. 11. According to the preliminary version, gas escape caused the blast.
Residents of the apartment, 28-year-old Rashad Mirishov and his wife 22-year-old Sakina Jahangirova with third-degree burns on different parts of the body were taken to the Lankaran district central hospital.
The hospital reported that the state of the spouses who received burns is serious. The Lankaran Prosecutor's Office is investigating this case.
