EDITOR's NOTE: the Emergency Situations Ministry's information added
According to the Emergency Situations Ministry's information, a tank consisting of 1,000 cubic meters of gas in the shop N.7 of the Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev in the Nizami district of Baku caught fire at 11:06 this morning.
The Emergency Situations Ministry's Fire Protection Service and other relevant structures' 40 technologies and staffs consisting of 250 people were involved in the fire place.
The fire was extinguished at 13:14 by firemen.
At present, Emergency Situations Ministry continues operations on cooling the surrounding hotbed of fire and measures to ensure fire security.
No dead was reported. The fact is under investigation.
