Azerbaijani Army soldier, 19-year old Nurlan Safarov, who was called to active military service by the Binagadi District Military Commissariat in Oct. 2010, has committed suicide, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
A criminal case has been filed and "additional information will be reported after investigating the reasons of the suicide," the report said.
