People trying to sell 65 kg of mercury were detained in Baku.

Baku residents Vugar Heydarov and Emil Dadashev were detained while trying to sell 5 kilograms of mercury for $20,000 as a result of search operations conducted by employees of the Head Department for Combating Organized Crime, the Interior Ministry told Trend.

As a result of operational measures, it was revealed that mercury was purchased from Samad Movlamov living in Hovsan settlement in the territory of the Absheron poultry farm.

Movlamov was arrested. Roughly 65 kg of mercury were found and confiscated in this yard.
