An Azerbaijani civilian was injured in a ceasefire violation by the Armenian armed forces yesterday.
The Armenian armed forces shot a 22-year-old resident of the Mazam village in the Gazakh region, Naila Poladova, at around 3:40 pm yesterday.
Poladova was injured in her right hand and taken to the Gazakh Central Hospital.
The Gazakh Central Hospital told Trend that her state of health is critical.
Gazakh Region Prosecutor Abisalam Heydarov told Trend today that Poladova was shot while resting near the Mazam Lake.
He said the bullet entered her back and flew out of her arm. She was hospitalized and had an operation. She is in stable condition.
An investigation is underway.
