Earthquake in Turkey causes panic among population

An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale jolted the Turkish southeastern province of Van, Turkish Anadolu news agency reported on May 27.
Bogazici University Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute said the earthquake occurred at 03:16 local time on May 27 and caused panic among the local population.
There are no victims or destructions, according to preliminary data.
