Azerbaijan's Gabala district hit by magnitude-6 quake

Magnitude-6 earthquake struck Gabala district of Azerbaijan, the Republican Seismological Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) told Trend.
The earthquake was recorded at 9:59:33 a.m. local time (GMT+5:00), 13 kilometers north-east of the Gabala district.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 5 kilometers, magnitude 6 quake felt in the epicenter, in Gabala - 5 points, in most districts of the country - up to 3 or 4 points.

No injuries or damages were reported, according to preliminary data, executive power of Gabala district told Trend.

Yesterday, some 2 tremors of up to 3 points were recorded in the country's Sheki district.
