Sudden death of Egyptian scientist breaks conference on Muslim youth

An international conference on Challenges of Globalization and Muslim Youth way to discretion, due on Friday (3 March) has been postponed.

The sudden death of Dr. Salim al-Bahnasavi, a scientist from Egypt, a major speaker to the forum, at a hotel made the organizers to delay the conference. Poor health is reported to cause the death of the 60-year old Egyptian scientist.

An international conference on Islam and youth: education, science and enlightenment started in Baku on 1 March 2006. Within the framework of the conference the Youth Assistance Fund was to host an event jointly with the Committee of Asian Muslims, the Youth Forum of Islamic Conference and the National Council of Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan.
