Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. K. Zarbaliyeva/ Erdal Yilmaz, the President of the company Erdal Inshaat, operating in the Azerbaijani, and Turkish national and Baku resident Asif Valiyev have been detained by the 27th police department of the district of Yasamal in Baku. According to the press service of the Azerbaijani Domestic Office, they have detained these two people on the basis of numerous complaints from Azerbaijani citizens. During the investigation, it was revealed that Mr Yilmaz and Mr Valiyev allegedly obtained large amounts of money from 28 Azerbaijani citizens, after gaining their confidence, under the pretext that they would employ them in a foreign country.
The State Public Prosecutor's Office has launched a criminal case against the detained persons under Article 178 (fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijani Republic. The sub department of inquiry at the Yasamal District Police Department is ongoing in its investigation.
