France, Paris / Тrend corr A. Maharramli / The Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) decided at its Paris meting on 18 December to send a fact finding mission to Azerbaijan and Ukraine, a member of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE said to Trend in Paris.
The mission will observe fulfilment of their obligations to CE by Ukraine and Azerbaijan. Then a report will be developed and considered at the PACE session, after which Ukraine and Azerbaijan's fulfilment of their obligations to CE will be again discussed.
In 2001, Azerbaijan became a full member of the CE and is among the countries being monitored.
