Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 September/ Trend / President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received delegation led by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Mehdi Safari on 4 September.
Mehdi Safari extended greetings of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to head of state of Azerbaijan. It was mentioned during the meeting that Azerbaijan-Iran relation are developing successfully and bilateral relations will be further enhanced. An exchange of views was held on the regional issues during the conversation.
President Ilham Aliyev thanked deputy foreign minister for the greetings of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejat and asked to extend his own greetings to his Iranian counterpart.
