The Georgian Foreign Ministry is confident that Heidi Tagliavini's commission will make an unbiased opinion on the war in August 2008. Tagliavini's commission has already held meetings in Sukhumi and will hold a meeting in Tbilisi in the coming days, Director of the Foreign Minister European Affairs Department Shota Gvineriya said at a traditional briefing on June 1.
"More detailed comments will be made after these meetings," Gvineriya said.
The international commission on studying the causes of the August war will make its final statement in late June.
