Youth Forum of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) will organize the international conference on the Khodjaly genocide in Geneva on Dec. 10, the Secretary General of the forum, Elshad Isgandarov told journalists on Nov. 2.

He said the event will be timed to International Human Rights Day. "Besides, it is expected to present the book on the Khodjaly genocide in 5 countries," said the secretary general of the OIC Youth Forum.

Upon the initiative by the ICYF-DC (Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation) for Intercultural Dialogue General Coordinator, Leyla Aliyeva, the international information and propaganda campaign "Justice for Khodjaly on May 8 in 2008.

Isgandarov said 125,000 people and 125 organizations in 25 countries confirmed their joining the campaign with the signatures.

"A special project has been developed by using information and communication technologies after achieving the initial goals for the further expansion of the campaign," said the Secretary General of the OIC Youth Forum.

Armenian troops committed genocide in Khojali on Feb. 26, 1992. The tragedy began early morning.

Within hours, over 613 unarmed Azerbaijani citizens were killed. Among them were 106 women and 83 children. About 1,000 people were disabled by shots; 8 families were fully destroyed. A total of 25 children lost both of their parents and 130 children lost one of them. About 1,275 people were taken prisoner. Around 150 people went missing.
